Project goal – anticipated outcome
To establish a dialogue between France and Russia on funding and the effectiveness of healthcare funding by sharing the experiences of both countries in this area.
To use the results of the seminar to inform the current debate on structuring the healthcare funding system in Russia with a view to the Russian Ministry of Health drawing up new legislation for the healthcare system.
Anticipated outcome: reform of the Russian healthcare system

Project goal – anticipated outcome
To develop services for their members by attempting to identify new forms of social protection.
Support will be provided to this trade union in several phases:
- Preliminary work on the legislative basis
- Training to raise awareness of the concept
- Putting together a case for advocacy with the public authorities
- Implementing these social protection systems
First actuary training session organised in Nantes at the UMR in 2009, second session being prepared for 2010.
Restructuring of the pension system is anticipated.
