MAKE ROOM FOR YOUNG PEOPLE!

Some ESN members shared their knowledge and practices around the question of Generation Y ("millenials" in English) and its modes of political commitment and solidarity.

A pilot international virtual community allowed more than 40 young education professionals from every continent to connect, so they can exchange, share their problems and desires. Projects have emerged, such as the construction of a mobile library for street children in Kinshasa.

A workshop "Youth and solidarity" was desinged, organized and run by 4 young members of the community at Education International World Congress in Ottawa in July 2015. The objective was to analyze the obstacles and motivations for youth involvement in such solidarity organizations (associations, unions, mutual societies, etc.), and give a voice to young people in this World Congress.
