This pilot project concerning the mobilisation of innovative financing is aimed at supporting the introduction of social protection mechanisms in favour of teachers in a developing country through regular participation by teachers in “countries of the North”.

It is a question of establishing procedures for cooperation between teachers in countries of the North who would help towards the contributions of mutualist teachers in developing countries, identifying beforehand the viable mutual societies in the countries of the South to which this money will be sent.

This project constitutes a form of sponsoring, with concrete solidarity between education professionals in one country and an education professional in another country.

Implementation of the project must be based on the choice of a country whose experience and projects will be of fundamental value in the future overall relevance of the system. It is therefore necessary to select a number of criteria likely to direct the choice to a particular country.
