Since its launch on 14–15 May 2009 in Paris, the Network has entered its active phase. This new site reflects the start of this new phase. The site’s main aim is to serve as a “working tool” for the network’s members and all those who want to contribute to promoting solidarity-based social welfare for, by and with teachers and education workers.

The additions include:

• A “Projects” section devoted to projects currently run by the Network and its members and partners, which facilitates exchanges of information and tools
• A “News” section which keeps users abreast of the latest developments in the area of solidarity-based social welfare and heath in the world of education

A more advanced “Toolkit” section which provides the Network’s stakeholders and partners with information, reference systems and working tools

• An area reserved for the Network’s members to enable them to access and share resources that are useful for their projects.
