Happy New Year 2023!

Education and Solidarity Network
January 9, 2023

Dear friends,

The team of the Education and Solidarity Network and I wish you all the best for this new year, which we hope will be full of solidarity and hope.

I would like to thank you for your continued commitment to the Network, which in 2022 has enabled us to continue our actions in favor of health and well-being for educational communities and the extension of social protection solidarity throughout the world.

This strong mobilization has been achieved through multiple actions to strengthen the capacities of educational staff, to share good practices and social innovations, to engage the younger generations in favor of the Social Solidarity Economy, and to make international comparisons and influence of public policies.

In 2023, we will continue to carry the voice of the Network around the world and to multiply the opportunities for collaboration and exchange between our members and partners, whose diversity is a strength.

We are launching the second edition of the International Barometer of Educational Staff – I-BEST, in which 13 member organizations and partners have already committed to participate, double the number of the first edition in 2021!

This year will also be this of ESN assessment – after 14 years of existence – and preparation of the next Strategic Programme 2024-2028. Whether you are a member or a partner, you will be solicited and I count on your contribution!

This work will be led by Morgane Richard, who has recently joined the ESN team, and the results will be presented to you at the 2023 General Assembly, which will be held on Wednesday 28 June from 2 to 4 pm (CEST) in dematerialized form.

I would like to thank you in advance for your valuable contributions and wish you a very good year 2023, under the sign of collaboration and commitment!
