Invited by the NGO ESSENTIEL and ONAM, the ESN was present at the national days of mutuality which took place from 21 to 22 March 2018 in Conakry (Guinea). This meeting was the opportunity to promote the Guinean mutualist movement within a context of implementing national social protection policy. The Health and Labour Ministers attended as well as the President of the National Confederation of Guinean Workers. The mutual present were urged to structure and professionalise themselves. A law on mutual insurance companies is currently being reviewed by the National Assembly. Further information here.
