Last April 24 to May 5, the ESN held its first virtual board of directors meeting on Loomio, an open source software developed by a social cooperative partnership of workers whose purpose is to encourage the collective decision-making processes by “breaking down the barriers to participation and decision-making at all levels“.
A great success for the ESN given strong participation by the members of the Board of Directors as well positive feedback: reduced restrictions associated with geographic remoteness, time difference and agenda management of each participant, an innovative approach, etc. A collaborative tool that the ESN will certainly use again in the future!
