The ESN is very pleased to welcome Hawa FATTY in the secretariat of the association! While waiting for the next meetings of the Network, a few questions to already get to know her.

Hello, Hawa! What motivated you to join the ESN?

Education is my vocation. I am firm believer that it is through education that any society will achieve stable and sustainable structural development. I was lucky to work for a local NGO for the promotion of education in Ghana, which allowed me to witness some of the major challenges of education for young people in the country. I also was able to work closely with educators who shared the struggles they faced in their everyday work.

Working for the Network enables me to operate in continuity of my previous actions.

Because I believe education is the best “weapon” for posterity, it is obvious to me that we need to protect the “soldiers” who are in the front line. That’s why it’s an honor for me to work to guarantee their health and well-being and ensure quality education for all; while mobilizing young people on social protection and public health issues.

What is your background?

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law, a Master’s degree in Political Science and another one in International Humanitarian Action and NGOs. This curriculum gave me the skills to work efficiently as a development Project Manager or Programs Coordinator.

What can we wish you upon your arrival at the ESN?

I am curious and enthusiastic about discovering new subjects and acting on new issues. I am very happy to start this new adventure!

Welcome Hawa !
